Guest Privileges for Members
General Requirements:
- Guest privileges vary by membership type. Please visit the member services desk if you have questions regarding the guest privileges available to you.
- Guests 17 years of age or under must be accompanied by a sponsoring member or another guest who is 18 years of age or older. The sponsoring member also must remain onsite.
- A sponsoring member may not check another person's child(ren) into the Child Center. Only the parent/legal guardian may do so. Additionally, the parent/legal guardian must remain onsite.
- No more than two guest privileges are allowed per membership on any single visit for guests under the age of 18 (if membership type qualifies). For example, two families may be allowed as guests for one membership during a single club visit.
- No more than three children may be under the supervision of one adult while using the Aquatics areas.
- A single guest privilege or pass may be used by an individual, couple or immediate family at the same residence.
- A member may extend a guest privilege to the same individual no more than once every 60 days. More than one visit each 60 days by the same individual requires a guest fee.
- Life Time Fitness Front Desk team members will track available guest privileges electronically in the member's account. Members need not hold physical guest passes.
- Unused guest privileges may not be accrued or otherwise carried forward to subsequent months or years.
- Guest passes may be limited to non-peak usage at club discretion. Please speak with your club regarding additional summer restrictions.
Club Use Privileges for Guests Under Age 12
- The appropriate liability waiver must be signed by the sponsoring member (who is at least 18 years of age) and the guest's parent/legal guardian prior to club entry.
- The sponsoring member or the guest's parent/legal guardian must accompany members and guests under age 12 at all times (unless the child is placed into the Child Center by the parent/legal guardian who also must remain onsite).
- Privileges for guests under age 12 include use of:
- Child Center (provided that their parent/legal guardian checks the child into the Child Center and remains onsite)
- Indoor and outdoor aquatics centers. In keeping with our established pool rules and the commitment to uphold a safe aquatics environment, we must ensure that all children are under the direct supervision of their parent, guardian or sponsoring member while using this area. Children under age 12 are allowed in the pool area during Family Hours when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, sponsoring member, and/or when participating in organized Life Time Fitness programming. A parent, guardian or sponsoring member must be present at the same body of water the children are in at all times. Any child under age 12 who cannot continuously swim 25 meters must be directly and actively supervised by a parent, legal guardian or sponsoring member who remains within 10 feet of the child at all times.
- Racquetball, gymnasiums (during designated open/Family Hours)
- LifeCafe and LifeSpa
- Adult members who wish to bring another member's child(ren) under age 12 must ensure the child holds an active membership and need not use a guest privilege or pay the guest fee(s). The appropriate waiver must be signed by the sponsoring member and the guest's parent/legal guardian prior to guest entry.
Club Use Privileges for Guests 12 Years of Age or Older:
- The appropriate liability waiver must be signed by the sponsoring member (who must be at least 18 years of age) and the guest's parent/legal guardian prior to club entry.
- The sponsoring member or the guest's parent/legal guardian must remain onsite at all times unless the guest is 18 years or older.
- Privileges for guests of ages 12 or older include use of the cardio and resistance training area of the workout floor, Group Fitness classes, racquetball and squash courts, LifeSpa, LifeCafe, rock climbing wall, gymnasium and indoor and outdoor aquatics centers during scheduled programming or "open" hours. Schedules vary by location.
- A member (of at least 18 years of age) may extend a guest privilege to another member who holds a different membership type (e.g. a Platinum member may extend a guest privilege to a Gold member). However, members may not use their own guest privileges to access a center of a higher level (e.g. a Gold member cannot use his or her own guest privilege to access a Platinum center.)
- Upon completion of the Guest Register by all adult guests, a Member Engagement Advisor or manager will authorize and enroll the guest, and a tour of the center will be given.
Guest Privileges for Non - Members
- Guests of ages 18 and older must present a valid, government issued identification card.
- Club use during Open House requires a pass, use of a member's guest privilege or a guest fee.
- A guest may visit once every six months without a member, using a pass (e.g. VIP pass or Web pass) and enjoy full club access at no cost.
- A guest may visit and use the club with no fee if they have a special invitation from a Member Engagement Advisor such as an appointment, email or letter.
- Special club activities may include event fees when a guest is accompanied by a member or offered complimentary with an invitation from a Member Engagement Advisor.
- A liability waiver must be signed upon each guest visit.
- In the case of a Life Time Fitness hosted activity (camp, birthday party, tennis, etc.) in which a dedicated Life Time Fitness team member maintains supervision of the activity, the guest's parent/legal guardian must complete and sign a Participation Waiver form prior to the event. The parent/legal guardian need not remain onsite in this instance.
