Tom Nikkola – Director of Nutrition and Weight ManagementIn addition to overseeing the program, Tom also manages nutritional products, including some of the leading brands in supplementation today, such as the Life Time label. Tom graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., with a degree in pre-med Biology. He has certifications from the American Council on Exercise (Certified Personal Trainer), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach), and the International Society of Sports Nutrition (Certified Sports Nutritionist). Tom has been with Life Time since 2001. Phil Timmons – National Program Manager for Group TrainingPhil played an integral role on the core research and development team that brought TEAM Weight Loss, TEAM Fitness and TEAM Boot Camp to life for the company. Phil graduated college as a Sports Medicine Technician. He also completed a yearlong internship at the University of Minnesota and Men's Athletics as part of their strength and conditioning staff. Phil has been in the fitness industry since 1994. Cindi Lockhart – National Program Manager for Weight Loss CoachingCindi has extensive experience helping people uncover metabolic dysfunctions, and supporting them through proper nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle changes. Cindi graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana with a degree in Dietetics. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian, Cindy is also a Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor, a First Line Therapy Health Care Provider, a Certified Yoga Instructor, and has completed training in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. Through the training that Cindi provides, Life Time is able to offer consistent, comprehensive weight management support in almost all locations. Anika Christ – Corporate Registered Dietitian / Weight Loss SpecialistAnika has worked with athletes of all levels to uncover metabolic issues they may be facing, along with helping those who are seeking weight management support. Anika graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stout where she earned her Registered Dietitian license. She also has an Adult Weight Management certification through ADA, a Certified Sports Nutritionist certification through the International Society of Sports Nutrition, and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Jim Lavalle, R.PH., C.C.N., M.S. – Consultant to Life Time Weight LossDr. LaValle has been consulting with Life Time since 2009. He has authored several books, including The Nutritional Cost of Drugs, Smart Medicine for Healthier Living, Drug-Induced Nutrient Depletion Handbook, and Cracking the Metabolic Code. He is a licensed pharmacist (University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy) with more than 23 years clinical practice experience in the field of natural therapeutics and functional medicine. Jim is also a board certified clinical nutritionist (International & American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN), a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (Central States College of Health Sciences), and a Diplomat in Homeopathic Pharmacy and Medicine (British Institute of Homeopathy) with more than 20 years clinical practice experience in the field of natural and integrative therapeutics and functional metabolism. Jim works with Life Time to provide sound, credible, evidence-based education on metabolism, weight management, nutrition and dietary supplements.
